SNAP & WIC Programs
Parkrose Farmers market will be participating in both SNAP and WIC Programs, having the ability to swipe SNAP cards and Vendors who accept WIC Checks and transfer them into Market tokens that can be taken by vendors who sell eligible food products. Additionally we will work with other organizations or provide ourselves with a $10 match of the tokens to match the spending for purchase of eligible food items.
Senior Citizen Token Programs
PFM will have a program that Seniors 66 years of age and older may sign up for that doubles their food dollar by giving tokens and doubling the amount spent by the registered Senior citizens. If a senior wishes to spend $10 they may come to the Market Masters Booth and register and we will take the $10 and give them $20 in tokens used same as cash. The match is limited to $10. We will work with other organizations or provide ourselves with a doubling or tripling of the tokens to match the spending for purchase of eligible food items.
